an e-1 is usually an 18-year-old kid with no Nice PaPa Bluey Shirt credit or life experience, they do not understand credit or loans or interest very well and they think it will be easy to handle a 600 or 700 dollar a month car payment on 1600 a month because they have never seen that amount of money before, then they learn about insurance. It is the same phenomenon with college kids signing contracts for 40k a year in tuition not understanding what they are doing. The company I work for has been in business for almost 25 years, and while there was a substantial dip in the last 5 years, somehow we’re on an upswing

I totally agree. Unfortunately, I have no say when it comes to Nice PaPa Bluey Shirt loan terms. My company is a third party lender, so we actually buy the contracts already written and agreed to by the buyer and seller. The only thing we do on our end has negotiated the value, and then the actual cost, of the paper, and then collect on the loan. Ugh, yes basically. It doesn’t make me happy, but they hired me as an accountant while I was still getting my CPA, so I was just grateful for the job
